Direct activities include burning of fossil fuels, passenger’s transports like road, flight, rail, and sea. Indirect activities include food like meat eaters, textiles like cotton, nylon, wool, materials made of carbon, and manufacturing of cement for the construction works.

There are many volunteers, organizations, and even local governments who are striving hard to control the carbon footprint by talking and motivating the people to participate in the protecting the environment. Over last 150 year, human activities are responsible for the contribution of raising the greenhouse effect in the atmosphere especially in many developed countries. Effects of global warming begin to show its negative impacts on human beings by means of various ways. Increasing the accumulation of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere raises the sea level as well as coastal flooding. Deforestation leads to higher spring-summer seasons and also, earlier snowmelt lays the reason for longer hotter and drier condition. This also ignites the forest and spreads widely across all parts of the region. A rapid rise in global warming leads to cause several health risks to the humans by emitting dangerous heat waves. Due to climate change, some areas may suffer severe drought conditions with water scarcity issues.

Possible remedies to save our Mother Earth

The first remedy begins by not burning the fossil fuels and natural gases, as it is the major challenge for humans to come out of it. Instead of using such fossil fuels natural products like plants, derived plastics, wind power, biodiesel can be preferred. Use of carbon-free energy sources like solar power, wind power, geothermal energy, low-head hydrocarbons, and nuclear power reduces the rate of carbon footprints.
